<p>Okay, so I know that this is blatantly superficial, and probably inspired by checking up on <a title="Boy Howdy!" href="http://helloboys.tumblr.com/">Boy Howdy!</a> at least a few times a day. However, if an eye-catching photograph makes at least one reader pick up your book, then your marketing department is at least doing something right, right? And so, in part one of what will hopefully be an ongoing series and not lead to too many painful reading decisions, I present to you, Adam Thirlwell:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7" style="border: 2px solid black;" title="Adam Thirlwell" src="http://startnarrativehere.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/adth1.jpg" alt="Adam Thirlwell" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-8" style="border: 2px solid black;" title="Adam Thirlwell" src="http://startnarrativehere.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/adth2.jpg" alt="Adam Thirlwell" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">My local library currently has <a href="http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9780007163670/?a_aid=startnarrative"><em>Politics</em></a> on hold for me, it doesn’t really sound like my kind of book, but for the sake of experiment I am willing to give it a shot.</p>
